10/2017. Immunological mechanisms of BACTEK-MV130

The European Journal of Immunology has published an original article on the basic immunological mechanisms of BACTEK-MV130, a polybacterial preparation developed by INMUNOTEK.

By stimulating dendritic cells, which are part of innate immunity, MV130 plays a relevant role in modulating the functional activity of the innate and adaptive immune response. The mechanisms that are put in place are specific for the components of the vaccine but also to bystander (unrelated) antigens.

BACTEK-MV130 is a bacterial mucosal vaccine in spray that is administered sublingually for treating recurrent respiratory tract infections in both children and adults.
